HEALTH
Naturally, we will do everything within our power throughout the event to protect the health of the participants.
We will ensure the highest level of hygiene at every venue.
While we cannot guarantee absolute safety, every participant attends the event at their own risk.
We kindly ask all participants to immediately report to the organizers if they notice anything unusual or suspicious (e.g., fever, cough, excessive sweating, etc.) either in themselves or other participants.
PAYMENT – CANCELLATION – REFUND
Participants have the right to cancel, but this will have financial consequences.
After registration and payment, if a participant cancels, the organizer will retain 20% of the amount paid to cover expenses related to the event.
For cancellations made after March 10, 2025, a 30% refund will be issued. Cancellations after April 10 will not be accepted, and the full amount will remain with the organizer.
In both cases, force majeure is an exception. In such cases, the organizer will refund 80% of the paid amount to the registrant, or the registrant may choose to redeem the full amount for the organizer’s next event.
Force majeure includes environmental disasters, severe accidents, or the death of an immediate family member.
If the organizer cancels the event, 80% of the paid amount will be refunded to the registered participant.
PHOTO – VIDEO
Photos and video recordings will be taken during the event, and you may appear in them.
Since this is a public event, this is entirely legal under the applicable laws.
By registering and attending the event, you expressly consent to the publication of any photos and videos taken at the event, including their use in festival-related promotions, advertisements, and on web and online platforms.
The organizers will make every effort to ensure that the photos and videos do not include any unflattering images of anyone.
Privacy Notice for Competition Registration
Tango Temptation Festival & Buenos Aires Preliminary Competition
1. Data Controller
The data controller is the organizer of the Tango Temptation Festival and the Buenos Aires Preliminary Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

During the competition registration process, the Organizer collects certain personal data and copies of official identification documents from competitors.
The sole and exclusive purpose of collecting and processing these data is to:

issue the official competition permission and accreditation

Only data that are strictly necessary for the competition authorization process are requested.

the explicit consent of the competitor, and

the necessity of data processing for compliance with official competition regulations.
By submitting the registration form and required documents, the competitor confirms their informed and voluntary consent to this data processing.
5. Data Use and Disclosure
The Organizer declares that:

the collected data are used exclusively for competition authorization purposes,

the data will not be sold, shared, transferred, or disclosed to any third party,
-
no commercial, marketing, or profiling activities are carried out using the data.
Access to the data is strictly limited to authorized persons involved in the competition administration.
6. Data Storage and Security
The Organizer applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that personal data are:

protected against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or misuse,

stored only for the minimum period necessary to fulfill the stated purpose.
Once the competition authorization process and any legally required retention period have ended, the data will be securely deleted.

request deletion of their data where legally permissible,

withdraw their consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).

8. Final Provisions
This privacy notice applies exclusively to the competition registration process of the Tango Temptation Festival and the Buenos Aires Preliminary Competition.
By completing the registration, the competitor confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Notice.
